Music Ministry

Oxford has a variety of ministries where you can share your musical gifts and talents.

The Oxford UMC Adult Chancel Choir and Ensemble practice every Wednesday beginning at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room of the Sanctuary Building and sings at the 9:00 am Traditional Worship Service. The Choir and/or Ensemble sings special anthems , current praise songs, and traditional hymns. The choir performs an annual Christmas Cantata and an Easter Cantata. 

 Elevate Praise Worship Service

The "ELEVATE PRAISE"  Team leads worship every Sunday at the 11:00 am ELEVATE PRAISE Service. The band features vocalists and instrumentalists who play today's favorite Christian Hits and yesterday's hymns in today's style. The Timbres de Dios Chime Choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Choir Room of the Sanctuary Building and performs in the Traditional Service on holidays and various Sundays throughout the month. We are always looking for new ringers to make a joyful noise!

The Children's Chapel Choir practices each Sunday at 10:00 am in the choir room during the school year. These young singers bring joy to the Traditional Worship Service with occasional presentations.  The Children's Chapel Choir is led by Beth Shovelton.
