Oxford has a very active UMW. The Dorcas Circle meets every 3rd. Tuesday at 9:30 am in the Family Life Center. The Friendship Circle meets every 2nd. Sunday at 12:30 pm in the De King Fellowship Center. The UMW Mission Team meets monthly. The Oxford UMW participates in several mission projects throughout the year such as outreach to the Wesley Community Center, Adopt a Family at Christmas, Undie Sunday, and many more.
Ladies Fellowship Tuesday Nights
The women of the church gather for fun and fellowship while they work on individual crafts on Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the Family Life Center. The setting is very informal and prayer and a devotional is shared. Light snacks are served. Bring your crafts and any supplies you already may have.The scheduled dates for 2012 are: March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, September 18, and October 16. Women's Retreats
The women of the church attend a refreshing weekend getaway retreat each year. Dates will be posted for upcoming retreats. One-day mini-retreats also occur throughout the year as well.
Women's Christmas Tea and Spring Garden Tea
The Women's Tea Events are highlights every year at Oxford. You can bring a friend, be a table hostess, and treat yourself and others to a special afternoon of fellowship, music, and delightful food. The 2012 Spring Tea is Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 1 pm - 3 pm and the 2012 Christmas Tea is Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 1 pm - 3 pm. 2012 ZUMBA Classes
Monday nights at 6:30 pm. This Latin music inspired fitness program will get you moving and getting fit! Childcare is provided. For more information contact Michelle Carey in the church office at 210-696-0192.
