These are the opportunities we have for volunteers in 2026.
FENCING & LIGHTING & TENT ASSEMBLY on September 5th, 12th, 18th, 19th and 25th beginning at 9:00am. Love working outside? Are you strong? Are you tall? Help set up the orange fencing to outline the patch, then string lighting through the trees.
CLEAN UP THE SPOOKY FOREST TRAIL on September 12th at 9:00am. Bring your gloves and hat. Trim a few trees, pull some weeds, and rack the pathway.
DECORATE THE SPOOKY FOREST & PUMPKIN PATCH on September 19th at 9:00am. Do you have an eye for decor? Are you creative? Help bring out last years decorations, spruce them up, and add more.
MOVE THE PALLETS on September 25th AT 9:00am. We will use a forklift to move the pallets from their storage area to the patch. Volunteers will then need to relocate the pallets around the patch - because the PUMPKINS will be delivered on September 25th.
UNLOADING PUMPKINS. Our first load of pumpkins is expected on September 26th. We need about 6 workers to help out at 9:00am, then we need EVERYONE to help unload the pumpkins from the truck beginning at 1:00pm.
Our refresher load is expected on October 17th. We need all EVERYONE to pitch in for this big project, too.
If your school accepts community service hours, this is a great way to volunteer!
PUMPKIN PATCH WORKERS are needed October 1st thru October 30th. Volunteers are needed to OPEN (moving needed materials from the church to the patch), to CASHIER & HELPER/GREETER (collect the money for pumpkins and help our visitors), to CLOSE (return materials to the safety of the church building and count the money). We also need a person to "Dress the Patch" by rearranging pumpkin displays and removing damaged pumpkins.
