Ash Wednesday Service

 

#1:  You are invited to join us for our Ash Wednesday service.

What:  Ash Wednesday Service at Oxford UMC

Where:  Oxford UMC Sanctuary

When:  Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 6:30pm

 

#2:  If you are not able to attend Ash Wednesday service, please come during the Drive Thru Imposition of Ashes being held in the Sanctuary Parking Lot. 

8am to 10am

and

1pm to 3pm

 

Ash Wednesday is a solemn reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God.  It marks the beginning of the Lenten period leading up to Easter (April 6, 2026), the day of Jesus's resurrection.
